Parents should keep a watch on the performance of their child. They should bring it to the attention of the school if they find that the progress of their child is not upto the mark.
Parents should be careful in their reaction to student's academic or extra curricular performance. They should not force the student to excel. Corporal punishments must not be used to force students to study or excel in their academics. If they find that their child is not performing well, they should take the appointment with the teacher and discuss the case of their child.
Parents are recommended not to make an issue with the marks of the students who have performed well, but still short of the expectations of the parents. The important thing is for the students to understand what they are being taught and learn to apply it in the real-world.
