Learning at the school constitutes a major, but not the only component of child's education. Students are required to follow-up the lessons taught in the school with learning at home. The Student Diary will provide a task list that is mandatory for the student to execute at home.
Home work is designed to revise and reinforce the learning that has taken place in the classroom. It is the opportunity for the student to recapitulate the lesson learnt during the day, dig deeper and list down areas that need further understanding. Parents are encouraged to provide assistance to the students during their home assignments, but should allow the students to act independently.
The school is against burdening the students with loads of homework. Home work should not be meant to keep the student busy at home all the time. Home work should not be forced upon students when they are sick. Students should attend to their homework when they feel refreshed after recreation and eating.
